Overview

Maintain and oversee warehouse activities and inventory along with related facility equipment by supervising receiving, storage, inventory control and shipping in an efficient and timely manner with exceptional quality and service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments while monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy.
• Manage and track processes for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping for key 3PL accounts.
• Supervise warehouse employees who are performing a variety of daily duties such as shipping, receiving, loading/unloading trucks, stacking, picking, and palletizing finished products.
• Determine space requirements for storage and schedule delivery and distribution of products, parts, and accessories to achieve distribution objectives and meet customer requirements and certify all stored material is organized and clearly identified.
• Ensure maintenance and scheduling of equipment, including company vehicles, in compliance with city, state and federal laws, and ensure a safe, clean environment with the ability to enforce all company work and safety rules, including the proper handling and recording of all hazardous materials. Assist with planning and implementing facility improvements and expansions.
• Coordinate work between warehouse and Operations Manager, Sales, and Purchasing departments regarding shipments being shipped in accordance with designated cut-off times, merchandise shortages, etc.
• Ensure inventory and storage areas are clean and properly maintained.
• Maintain various records and reports including error and production reports.
• Assist in monitoring employee attendance, productivity, and performance, along with providing employee guidance as required.
• Recommend changes in procedures to improve overall operating efficiency while monitoring TL and ISO metrics.

• Experience in in 3PL Warehouse environment.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems. (Understanding of NetSuite)
• Experience with QMS and support of TL and ISO certification requirements.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10 years experience in distribution and/or 3PL warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
