Job Description

POSITION: Talent Acquisition RecruiterSTATUS: Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. Will research, develop and implement effective recruiting and sourcing strategies as well as developing new and creative recruiting ideas

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Full cycle recruiting including job posting, pre-employment screening, interviewing, and employee on-boarding
  • Use applicant tracking system to manage the candidate process from application to screening to hiring.
  • Conducts screening interviews with applicants and selects qualified candidates to schedule with hiring managers.
  • Partners collaboratively with hiring managers and other team members to meet recruiting goals.
  • Maintains applicant tracking database integrity and follows recruiting policy and processes and all applicable laws.
  • Ensures a consistently positive and professional experience for each candidate by managing the candidate expectations during the recruitment process.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Guides and assists hiring manager regarding staffing process, policies, and procedures.
  • Supports other talent related initiatives and projects as needed.
  • Communicates important employment information during of delivery of employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements).
  • Treats all people, internally and externally, as customers and serve with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Exhibits computer systems knowledge and proficiency as necessary to perform job functions.
  • Demonstrates the attitudes and behaviors of the South Bend Clinic’s Service Standards.
  • Adheres to HIPAA guidelines set forth in Clinic policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned when appropriate.
  • POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Education/Certification/License:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field is required.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably iCIMS. Working knowledge of all aspects of the recruiting process to include; sourcing, candidate evaluation, interviewing, pre-employment screening, and onboarding. Must have a keen understanding of employment law. Must have excellent attention to detail, strong communication. Must Be Dependable, Self-Driven, Proactive, and a Team-Player. Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
