While this role will ideally be located in Chicago, we are also open to the possibility of remote work.
The Role:
Our next great team member is a talented and highly motivated Business Development Specialist who will focus on creating new opportunities for growth through generating, identifying and qualifying leads.We are looking for someone who is an "I-Style Communicator" (yes, we've done DISC training) who is a persuasive speaker and loves communicating.
In support of our strategic plan, our new team member will develop and implement outreach strategies, seek out new business opportunities, and create a pipeline of new customers. They will create and use lists and databases from strategic accounts, target campaigns, marketing events and 3rd party services to achieve their lead generation goals. They will also have exploratory conversations with potential customers to determine how The Sound can help their business and successfully position The Sound’s value proposition.
We offer a base hourly rate plus generous performance-based comp. Target comp is over $100k OTE potential which includes base comp and incentive bonus potential. If you want to make an impact by sourcing brands, adding new logos and you strive for great team successes, then please, read on.
