The Seattle Times, a family-owned news organization, is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our Information Technology team. The Database Administrator is responsible for the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of database systems and providing advanced support for databases and data pipelines. This person must also maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable technology, anticipate the company’s needs, and make recommendations as needed. This position will participate in product roadmap discussions and identify key areas for database improvements in the product and incorporates these goals into ongoing & future development initiatives.
