The Sand Dunes

Are you a hospitality professional with leadership skills who can help ensure our busy hotel guests have a memorable experience? You could be an excellent candidate for our next Guest Service Manager. The Guest Service Manager will be responsible for the guest experience over the phone and email for our three Carolina Beach area hotels, and will directly support the onsite team at one property. This is a pivotal role in organizing set-up for a successful and smooth day. This position requires an outgoing, enthusiastic personality, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work without constant direct supervision. Please apply today if you are eager to show your leadership skills and ensure our guests have a fantastic stay!

Responsibilities

  • Have a working knowledge of the property’s phone and other communication systems.Answer telephone calls, text messages and emails with a pleasant demeanor according to property etiquette, listening carefully to guest requests, and clearly taking, dating, distributing or filing notes as needed
  • Make guest reservations via telephone and in person using our property management software.Maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with property standards
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest’s name when possible.Complete pre-arrival tasks included but not limited to: creating housekeeping boards, writing pre-arrival welcome cards, reviewing arrival guest notes, programming key entry codes
  • Be knowledgeable about the properties, their programs, amenities and experiences. Suggest specific rooms to guests based on their needs and preferences
Qualifications
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
  • Over 2 years experience managing a team in a hospitality or customer service role
  • Possess excellent management skills, communication skills, and multitasking skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification required (GED)

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States of America
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
Compensation
$45,000 annually
