Overview
The IT Department at ARC Command Headquarters is seeking a full time Help Desk Technician to be responsible for Personal Computer Client Support (hardware and software) at the Adult Rehabilitation Centers Command.
Responsibilities
The Help Desk Technician will be responsible for 1st level help desk support and creating help desk tickets, answering IT support line and checking messages, maintaining inventory list of all computers and devices, arranging warranty and out of warranty service as appropriate, shipping equipment as needed, preparing requisitions and follow up on back orders until received, and preparing vendor invoices for payment.
The Help Desk Technician will assist the IT Team in setup, training, supporting, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing computer software and hardware problems for all ARC centers and Vehicle Donation Program site. This position requires travel when necessary.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have an associate’s degree and/or 2 years IT experience along with excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills, a strong working knowledge of personal computers, MACs and related peripherals with attention to detail and ability to prioritize. The Help Desk Technician must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. A certification is preferred.
