Reporting to the Payroll Manager. The Payroll Specialist will be supporting the payroll team with the administration of accurate and timely delivery of payroll for our employees on a bi-weekly basis, and perform related duties as required.

What You Get To Do Every Day

• Collecting timesheet data and payroll information
• Support the accurate and timely preparation, input, analysis, and processing of biweekly multi-state payroll, as well as ensuring compliance with all applicable state, federal wage and hour laws
• Processing of new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and other similar responsibilities accurately and timely
• Is the first point of contact for responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns
• Provides assistance to the internal team and vendors to ensure all Payroll changes are processed.
• Provides assistance with pre and post payroll audits
• Maintain control of payroll records and personnel related matters with strict confidentiality regarding all sensitive information
• Participate in different payroll projects and other initiatives as assigned

What You Bring To The Role

• 2 years of relevant experience in payroll administration
• Business Admin/Accounting degree preferred, but not required
• Workday payroll/Time Tracking preferred 
• Must have appropriate Excel skills
• Prior experience with employee stock options/restricted stock runs preferred
• Attention to details, ability to professionally interact with all levels of staff required
• Ability to handle confidential matters using sound judgment and discretion
• Prior experience processing payroll within a multi-state jurisdiction environment required
• Good team player
