ABOUT THE JOB:

We’re looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to help deliver high quality support for remote and in office workers at The Pro’s Closet. You will be accountable for end user support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, writing technical documentation and providing excellent customer service. In addition, you will be responsible for some project based work and solution mapping around various technologies and issues as they arise. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Respond to and complete incidents/requests via our ticketing platform
• Troubleshoot and triage tickets prior to escalations to other groups within Technology
• Participate in maintenance activities on hardware, operating systems, software applications and endpoint management solution
• Maintain accurate documentation to be utilized as a technical resource, additionally maintain internal focused documentation for employees
• Help implement and roll out new security and endpoint management tools
• Tracking hardware and software inventory
• Ensure office tools; printers, video conferencing gear and warehouse equipment remain functional with high uptime
• Establish accounts for new employees and disable accounts during offboarding of employees
• Deliver great customer service

ABOUT YOU:

• 2 years of related professional experience
• You are proficient with Google Workspace and cloud based directory
• You have basic familiarity with servers, and network hardware, as well as familiarity with operating system software and with computer imaging, printer support, etc
• Experience with Jira or similar platform
• You consider yourself a good communicator, approachable, and engaging
• You have a proven track record of documentation and the drive to exceed expectations
• You have a deep understanding of the OSI model and how to apply that in troubleshooting situations
• Have experience with 3rd party systems (e.g. Netsuite, Shopify)
• You have the ability to provide excellent customer service deskside as well as remotely
• Are always looking for ways to grow and become a better technician and value what can be learned by working with a team
• Must be willing to primarily work from our Louisville office
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment
• Enthusiastic about the outdoor/cycling industry, the people it attracts, and all the gear!
• TPC requires employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 for in person work and company events as required by your role, unless you qualify for an exemption allowable under the law
