Recreation Leader - Full Time Tues to Sat

Essential Functions:

• Assist in evaluating residents recreational needs and developing activity programs upon resident initial admission relating to past and current interests.
• Promotes a physically and sensory stimulating environment to increase the functioning levels of residents.
• Leads, prepares and participates in individual and group activities as scheduled daily.
• Assist with decorating the facility and preparing for special events and seasonal parties.
• Participates in recreational programs for residents confined to their rooms and participation records for 1:1 visits are mandatory.
• Maintains records of activities and attendance including timely completion of residents daily participation in programs, MDSs, Care Plans & Progress Notes.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• BS in Recreation preferred.
