The Orenda Center of Wellness, LLC is a rapidly growing organization that is looking for a motivated individual to join the team and help expand our outpatient Psychiatic services for our addiction treatment and mental health programs. This role of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will report directly to the medical & executive directors while work concurrently with both clinical teams ensuing that all clients receive Orenda style team approach to therapeutic services. As a true dual-diagnosis treatment facility our clients are able to receive both their substance use services as well as mental health therapies concurrently and/or exclusively throughout their outpatient enrollment. As a preferred treatment provider, the Orenda Center of Wellness's approach is always the whole life ideal ensuring that each of our clients receives the specifically tailored treatment program that addresses their unique needs meeting them where they are at.
This role will be responsible for a cross spectrum of duties ranging from but not limited to, completing psychiatric clinical assessments, providing medication management to clients, conducting follow-up session with all clients under your caseload, conferring with clinical and direct care teams on any medical issue or medication changes, providing assistance to the Physiatrist as request, adhering to all regulatory / company standards of care, documenting all assessments, communications and client sessions in our EMR system within the 24-hour time frame deadlines. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with dual-diagnosis clients ranging from adolescents to adults all who may have history of trauma and/or PTSD. Qualified candidates must be skilled at personal time management as well as able to prioritize their daily workload alongside unexpected medical emergencies and crisis situations. Quick calm responses with ability to assess needs quickly will be indispensable skill for this position. De-escalation and crisis response training is preferred but not required for this role. Certifications as well as experience in addictions medication management is required.
