About the RoleAssistant Account Executives partner with all members of the account team to provide hands on support wherever needed. You are a curious observer and are passionate about learning our industry and building a strong foundation. You are proactive and resourceful and not afraid to dive into the details to get things done.
What You'll Do- Establish and build relationships internally and with junior level clients
- Demonstrate business etiquette in meetings and written communications
- Provide administrative support to the team including updating status reports, taking meeting
- notes, scheduling meetings, budget tracking, etc.
- Begin to 'manage the making' of communications assets and understand Ogilvy's process
- Manage small projects and support senior team members on larger projects
- Assist with project management/workflow system data entry and reporting
- Complete basic analyses of client's business results and competitive landscapes
- Become familiar with Ogilvy's departments and expert groups and their roles
- Beginning to work on drafting news releases, pitch letters, case histories, and promotional materials (product fact sheets, etc.).
- Helps develop media lists and other reports (e.g., competitor, consumer, or interest group analyses) completely and accurately.
- Conducts editorial outreach and is gaining understanding of the dynamics of media relations.
- 0-2 years of experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project, and time management skills.
- Strong skills in research and analysis
