The New York Racing Association Inc. is Hiring an Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) Near Saratoga Springs, NY

Job Overview

The Part-Time Administrative Assistant will perform a range of administrative duties from processing department payroll to maintaining employee files and recording and processing union benefit reports and work orders.

Responsibilities

  • Process department payroll via data entry in work force management;
  • Set new employees up for biometric scanning in the timeclock;
  • Process new hire paperwork and employee on-boarding process;
  • Maintain employee files and records;
  • Process Union benefit reports;
  • Process Work Orders;
  • Office duties: word processing, email, scheduling as required;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent;
  • 3 to 5 years of administrative experience;
  • Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and diverse environment;
  • Strong customer service orientation;
  • Experience with union payroll a a plus;

Note: This is a part time position and will work 3 days per week. Mondays are a required day.
