TRAILER MECHANIC HELPER
The successful candidate will assist the Trailer Mechanic in repair and maintenance of Chemical tankers, Pneumatic Trailers, Hydraulic Trailers, Hopper bottom trailers, Trailer Augers. Candidates must be able to assist with maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
Mechanic Helper Job Requirements
- Experience and knowledge in general mechanical maintenance and repair
- Perform safety inspections thoroughly and completely on all required equipment and maintain supplemental safety documentation.
- Lifting objects of various weights, sizes, and shapes
- Working in small or confined spaces
- Possess basic computer skills
- Work on their feet for 10 hours a day
- Climb up and down trailers multiple times a day
- Ability to pass a standard fit test
