The Mortgage Law Firm, PLC is Hiring a Billing Administrator Near Temecula, CA

We are an established law firm with an office in Temecula that provides legal services to mortgage servicers in the area of foreclosures and bankruptcies. We offer a positive professional environment and the potential to grow professionally as the firm grows.

We are seeking to hire a full-time Billing Administrator. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written communication skills with a strong work ethic and heavy attention to detail. Mortgage industry or billing experience is preferred but not required.

Summary: Under general supervision, the Billing Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate submission of fee approval requests to our clients, billing, and invoicing for The Mortgage Law Firm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collects information related to foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction notices, litigation matters and deed-in-lieu’s according to client guidelines and reviews for accuracy
  • Navigate, update and review proprietary database
  • Submit billings through client portals and generating invoices in QuickBooks
  • Monitor and track the progress of fee approvals and denials in client portals and company database (Access)
  • Reviews, researches and responds to denials, escalating to management as needed
  • Monitors, reviews and interprets attorney hours in company database to ensure that fee approvals are able to be billed
  • Effectively communicate with clients on fee approval and billing status via client portal and email
  • Review, understand and maintain compliance within investor and client guidelines
  • Coordinates with other departments as needed
  • Performs research for accounts receivable
  • All other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Computer Skills Required: Intermediate level Excel
  • Computer Skills preferred: Microsoft Office (Access, SharePoint, Outlook), FoxIt PDF

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
