Job description
Our revolutionary, forward-looking organization is looking for a Director of People Operations. This role is responsible for directing multiple teams, managing day-to-day people functions relative to recruitment, performance management, employee relations, benefits support, policy compliance, safety & worker’s compensation, employee morale, leadership training and HR administration.
You will create processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency, happiness, morale, and effectiveness of the team. You will facilitate change and ultimately improve the employee lifecycle experience. You will lead a lively, vibrant team of new leaders, which are eager to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
· Build, manage, and continuously improve People & Leader workflows that support the team - including onboarding, offboarding, and scheduling
· Build efficient and streamlined workflows that support other leaders and managers in delivering consistent outcomes
· Oversee HR functions (scheduling, workman's comp, benefits, payroll, etc.)
· Be on-call to report employees that cannot come in
· Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
· Manage budgets and forecasts
Skills
· Experience leading teams
· 6 months experience in HR related role or leading people alongside HR
· Prior experience utilizing ADP is beneficial
· Experience building strong business partnerships and executive establishing credibility and rapport with partners
· Associates or Bachelors in Business Mgt, HR or related fields
· Collaborator: engaging, cooperative, contributing, and supportive of team members
· Available: this is a young staff, they may have questions from time to time after hours or on the weekend
· Respectful: honest, trustworthy, accountable, and dependable
· Communication skills: both verbal and written, good people skills, coaching and counseling skills
