The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is Hiring an Administrative Assistant I Near Los Angeles, CA

As an Administrative Assistant I you will be responsible for providing a wide variety of in-person administrative support to multiple managers within the Real Property Group. Your responsibilities will range from calendaring; processing invoices, requisitions, and releases; ordering office supplies; answering phones; preparing meetings and catering for Legislative tours; compiling information on behalf of management; and responding to immediate and time sensitive requests from management.Your ability to be successful in this role is dependent on your attention to detail, organizational ability, administrative skills, sense of urgency, and your ability to communicate and interact with others effectively.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience: A high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate and four years of relevant experience; or Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.

Relevant Experience is defined as: administrative work experience

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTSLicense(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
