What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) position at Massachusetts General Hospital?
GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
Clinical Research Coordinator for a fast-paced research unit focusing on the study of mental healthcare disparities. Will take part in various research tasks including conducting literature searches, editing/proof-reading and submitting scholarly papers; creating PowerPoint presentations; drafting letters of support, and planning and coordinating activities. S/he will support travel and meeting logistics, maintain calendars and correspondence, and help with the overall smooth functioning of the office and daily work of the Unit Chief. Excellent opportunity for a well-organized recent graduate who enjoys research and writing as well as coordination activities. Ideal for December graduates, with a start date in January.
Qualifications include:
Self-starter with excellent organizational, writing and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to synthesize and manage data from multiple sources.
Ability to work well as a member of a team and interface with individuals across a wide range of disciplines and experience including community-based organizations.
Ability to work well with technology and willingness to work with new technology.
Proficiency in Spanish is helpful.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree required.
EXPERIENCE:
New graduates with some relevant course/project work or those without any prior research experience will be considered for the Clinical Research Coordinator I position outlined above.
Those with a minimum of 1-2 years of directly related work experience will be considered for a Clinical Research Coordinator II position.
