We are a women-led, locally-owned small pediatric Wellness Clinic located in Roswell, Ga. We offer the best holistic pediatrician services in the area. Within our Functional Medicine model, we provide a patient-centered, science-based approach that encourages a collaborative relationship between patient and provider to address the underlying causes of disease. We offer a wide range of functional medicine services that are individualized and phased to meet the needs of each of our patients. We also operate like many pediatric offices and offer appointments from well-baby visits to school and sports physicals and everything in between. Our functional medicine side has a wide range of experience providing services and treating children with chronic illnesses such as autism, ADHD, and asthma.

We are two moms who began the M center after walking through the experience of healing our own children with a Functional Medicine approach. We discovered our children were a catalyst to the realization of our life mission – to share our expertise, insight, and healing approaches with other families like our own. We help the pediatric population feel and live their best! Come work with a team who will be like family!

The ideal candidate will have a great bedside manner with kids and parents and good communication skills with patients and fellow team members. This person will also be a team player looking to be a part of a collaborative effort to improve the quality of life, health, and wellness of our patients and their families. Experience with special needs children preferred but not required!

We are looking for somewhere between 25-30 hrs. a week and are somewhat flexible on the hours, so a schedule can be determined upon entry. We operate Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
• Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
• Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)
• Triage patients, and maintain an efficient office flow
• Monitor various IV Infusions as ordered
• Obtaining laboratory specimens and performing basic laboratory tests on the premises
• Administer vaccines and medications as needed
• Managing/monitoring inventory of supplies via an EMR
• Review of consent forms and discharge instructions with families
• Educate, inform, and reiterate the details of science-based integrative procedures to parents

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure
• Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
• Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to report to medical providers when appropriate
• Excellent communication skills with families with children with special needs
• Basic clinical skills and phlebotomy (obtaining vital signs, drawing blood, etc.)
• Excellent IV and venipuncture skills
• Proficiency in IM and SQ injections of various medications and vaccines
• Proficiency in EMR usage
