We are currently seeking a Part time Security Guard for the Lutheran Village at Millers Grant retirement community who will work every other weekend 12MID-8am. The shift will include both Saturday and Sunday for a total of 16 hours. Our LVMG Security Guards are part of our Facilities team that supports and serves our residents.

Job Duties:

• Makes rounds throughout buildings and campus.
• Respond to calls from our resident emergency response system and assist nursing personnel as needed.
• Follow emergency call lists; help direct emergency vehicles if necessary.
• Document and check mechanical equipment operation, gauges and controls.

Qualifications:

• At least one years' experience as a Security Guard preferred. Experience working with older adults preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
