Lutheran Village at Millers Grant is currently seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper for our Continuing Care Retirement Community in Ellicott city, MD. Our Lutheran Village at Millers Grant (LVMG) Housekeepers are a part of our Facilities team, that delivers a unique approach to quality care and hospitality support services for our older adult residents and our active older adult community.

Job Duties:

• Cleaning resident rooms/offices common areas
• Deep cleaning of all areas-moving small furniture and beds to dust
• Cleaning and disinfectant discharge rooms
• Cleaning general bathing rooms soiled utility

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous custodial/housekeeping experience a plus
• Previous experience using cleaning equipment and solutions
• Ability to push, pull, move and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have the physical ability stand, turn, stoop and walk in a limited area most of the day
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
• Must be able to handle a heavy work load
• Must be able to communicate and understand the English language

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
