The Lumistella Company is Hiring a Part-time Graphic Designer Near Atlanta, GA

Join us in Telling the Stories of Santa’s North Pole!

The Lumistella Company is looking for a Part-time Graphics Designer(Contract) to join our team! The Contract Graphic Designer supports the Creative Team in project-based assignments involving creative material development that meet both brand standards and specific business goals related to each project. This includes creating original designs for internal teams such as: Product Development, Consumer Marketing, Retail Marketing.

The ideal Contract Graphic Designerwill bring:

  • Advanced Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator;
  • Working knowledge InDesign and/or other design software;
  • Exceptional design skills with an eye for consistency;
  • Strong layout skills and design sensibilities;
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and problem-solving skills, initiative, attention-to-detail and creativity;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.

Essential Job Functions and Duties of theContract Graphic Designer:

  • Creates images, logos, pictures and typography styles using existing visual elements and style requirements, and combining them in new and unique ways;
  • Supports efforts of the Consumer Marketing Department related to the provision of artwork assets for use in social media platforms including Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and Blog;
  • Collaborates with the Retail Marketing Department related to the provision of design concepts for use in POS Signage, website/email assets, trade show artwork, retailer style guides and sales catalogs and large retailer programs;
  • Assists in Trade Show Artwork projects. This includes initial design concepts, rendering for presentations, files setup for production, and manages the vendor relationship;
  • Collaborates with New Product Development to design printed Art pieces to support new product lines;
  • Assists in creating product, packaging and signage mockups for sales and marketing as needed; and
  • Protects company assets through the proper management of asset files and adherence to company policy with regard to information security and management.

Education requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years’ experience.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like;
  • Requires sitting for extended periods of time, standing, visual acumen, and manual dexterity for working with computer keyboards.
