Job Description

Position Summary
The Lockwood Group is looking to hire a Training Specialist to work for our client located in APG, MD or Fort Hood, TX.

Job Requirements:
  • Implementation, publishing, and evaluation of TSP learning products - Less Plans, Exercises, incorporating Training Guides, IMI, Handouts, and QRGs.
  • Analyzing existing army learning portal content for modular reuse, and course requirements for various TSP learning products - Less Plans, Exercises, Training Guides, IMI, Handouts.
  • Assess training requirements, identifying, and evaluating training alternatives, developing training materials to include a variety of training approaches: traditional classroom, programmed learning, hands-on, simulation, video, audio, and computer aided training.
  • Designing and delivering programs to train all levels of personnel.
  • Developing tests and visual aids, conducting training classes, and developing criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
  • Keeping abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Secret Clearance Required.
  • High School Diploma or bachelor’s degree required. 
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience required. 
  • Travel: 10%.
