The Law Office of Joshua W. Branch, LLC is Hiring a Legal Assistant Near Crawford, GA

Reports To: All Attorneys and Office Manager

Summary: To perform duties to provide administrative and organizational support for the office.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following

· Provide legal administrative support within busy Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation

· Draft/ prepare / edit correspondence and legal documents.

· Organize and maintain client files

· Liaise with clients, insurance adjusters and defense counsel and initiate follow-up

· Assist with authorizations, undertakings, discoveries, and productions

· Schedule meetings and manage calendar for lawyers

· Manage bring-forward system and keep lawyers apprised up upcoming deadlines

· Assist with other tasks as may be needed

· Maintains a professional office environment and promotes a positive image for the company

· Inputs new client’s information onto the company’s data base

· Composes and prepares letters to clients and maintains confidentiality when required.

· Operates standard office equipment efficiently to include:

o multi-line telephone

o postage meter

o computer with printer

o photocopy machine

o facsimile machine

o calculator

o scanner

o performs other related duties as assigned
