The Lakeshore Inn is Hiring a Full Time Front Desk Agent Near Lake Oswego, OR

The Lakeshore Inn, a boutique hotel located on the Lake in downtown Lake Oswego is currently seeking friendly, outgoing, energetic individuals to join our team. We are looking for a full- time (40 hours a week) Front Desk Agent, preference will be given to applicants having experience, but willing to train the right candidate.

Our property has 31 rooms and has standard size hotel rooms with a King, Queen or two Queen Beds, larger one bedroom suites and a few 2 bedroom suites.

Front Desk Agent:

Compensation: Very competitive, up to $20.00 D.O.E

Individuals must have a commitment to providing each and every guest with EXCEPTIONAL service. The ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced environment, and to work well both independently and as a member of the front desk team is crucial. Individuals must also have the ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, management, and owners.

Duties include but are not limited to

  • Perform check-in and check-out procedures
  • Manage online and phone reservations
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
  • Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
  • Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate

Skills

  • Experience with hotel reservations software is a bonus but not required.
  • Customer service attitude a must
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

The Front Desk Agent position currently open is for full time, which is 40 hours a week there are some shifts potentially available, but candidates must be flexible, and available on weekdays, weekends, evenings and mornings..

Those with previous front desk experience will get preference, but any individual applying needs to have at least two years minimum of customer service experience.
