The Lakes of Clermont Health and Rehabilitation Center is Hiring a Social Services Director Near Clermont, FL

Overview

The Lakes of Clermont is conveniently located in the southern half of Lake County, within a mile of Orlando Health South Lake Hospital. 40 private and 20 semi-private suites will include individual bathrooms each with it's own shower. Enclosed, interior courtyards with water features will provide multiple locations for relaxing. For entertainment, a movie cinema on-site will provide residents with surround sound theater experiences. Personalized dining services will be provided by our trained culinary staff, including a registered dietitian.

You've got it all covered.Our community has an opportunity for a driven, passionate, caring Social Services Director. Responsibilities of the Social Services Director includes:

  • Identifying and providing for each resident's social, emotional and psychological needs, and the continuing development of the resident's full potential during his/her stay at the facility and to assist in the planning for his/her discharge.
  • Managing the social services department personnel
  • Participating in the pre-admission screening
  • Providing information to families during admission
  • Orienting residents to the LTC environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or license and/or certification to meet state and/or federal requirements for the position
  • Basic understanding of computer technology including email use
  • Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
  • Able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with others
  • We are a vaccinated care facility. New hires will need to provide proof of vaccination or other acceptable documents prior to starting employment
