How you can make a bigger difference: The Mishkon Division provides supports and services in a healthy and safe environment for individuals with intellectual/ developmental disabilities living in residential programs and in community settings. The Milieu Supervisor is responsible for providing oversight of the Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) or Individualized Residential Alternative (IRA) serving adults with developmental disabilities. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Residential Services, the Milieu oversees the overnight hours’ operations of the program in line with the OPWDD regulations and Assistant Director’s instructions and ensures consistent and appropriate program coverage. Qualifications:Associates Degree in Human Services or Related Field.A minimum of three (3) years working with the I/DD Population as well as one (1) year of supervisory experience. Key Essential Functions:Conduct Overnight and Weekend Fire Drills.On Shabbos and Jewish Holiday’s ensure Jewish Customs and Laws are observed.Respond to Residential emergency while on duty. Will be on-call to ensure appropriate coverage in the facility and to provide guidance in emergency. May be required to be on-call in order to provide emergency coverage in the event of a serious staff shortage. Other Duties assigned.
