The Investment Center, Inc. is looking to hire a Marketing Specialist that will directly report to the Director of Marketing and support the needs of the marketing department and overall firm objectives.

Advisor Marketing Support

• Handle all requests for business cards and letterhead
• Discuss with representatives CRMs, Financial Planning Software, and Marketing Software

• Advisor Practice Management & Marketing Program (AMP) support
  • Advisor gatekeeper for AMP team
  • Participate in AMP advisor meetings
  • Recording and maintaining AMP processes
  • Marketing support for AMP advisors, includes campaign execution, writing press releases, social media (sourcing and posting articles), writing letters, and designing invitations
  • Practice management support

Website

• Website management (Daily maintenance, posting of new content and forms, creation of website banners)
• Managing Online Store for advisors and home office
• Manage and oversee website analytics

Communications

• Manage all the Social Media for The Investment Center Social (FB, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Coordinating and sending out the weekly eNewsletter, includes curating content
• Management of Home Office and Advisor Emails – including maintenance of Constant Contact email platform
• Working with Compliance Team to coordinate TIC mailings/emails
• Manage all marketing and recruiting material
• Ordering and coordinating the mailing of holiday and birthday cards for advisors

Events

• Event support (Registration and onsite management)
• Scheduling webinars and Town halls

Advertising

• Managing marketing analytics and competitive analysis
• Assisting with advertising development (digital ads, print ads, direct mail)

Marketing Team Support

• Recording and maintaining marketing processes

Business Development Support

• Manage the direct mail process with the Director of Marketing and Director of Business Development
• Maintain accurate information in Salesforce
• Help pull reports and data from Salesforce
• Help field inbound calls for the business development department as needed
• Make outbound calls for recruiting purposes as needed

Advisor Relationship Support

• Create and implement new projects and creative ideas that help improve advisor retention and recruitment rates
• Reach out to advisors via telephone and email. Establish key talking points, including the Rep Referral Program and succession planning
• Discover potential practice acquisition opportunities within advisor population
• Take part in phone calls with advisors transitioning from other broker-dealers
• Conduct advisor surveys including ongoing transition surveys with new advisors
• Share advisor comments/concerns/questions with the marketing and recruitment teams at weekly team meetings
• Work on monthly reports for the executive team regarding rep performance

Qualifications and skills

• 1-3 years’ experience in marketing or equivalent education
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and quality control critical
• Creative development and design skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and InDesign
• Must be able to work independently and in teams
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, and ability to multitask in dynamic environment

• Positive and service minded attitude
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and utmost integrity
• Must have superior follow up and deadline focused skills
• Experience with Customer Relationship Manager(CRM) software/tools helpful
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM software, Cvent event management software, and Constant Contact email software a plus
• Financial services experience desirable
• Website content management experience and knowledge a plus (Expression Engine CMS)
• Working knowledge of website design and development skills including CSS and HTML a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
