The Tony Hotel South Beach is searching for a professional and experienced Server for our beautiful property on South Beach.

The primary responsibilities of a Server include providing our guests an outstanding dining experience with a warm attitude and personality, knowledge of our menu and ingredients, and a sharp mind to get orders right the first time.

Compensation:

$11.66 / an hour, plus tips & gratuities

Server Essential Functions:

· Display basic knowledge of cocktail and wine service.

· Display knowledge of food preparation.

· Display knowledge of special and standard menu items and their ingredients.

· Display knowledge of correct accounting procedures.

· Complete side work to include preparing garnishes, stocking cold areas with cream and butter, filling and stocking 

salt/pepper shakers, separating linen, etc.

· Operate computer in a prescribed manner for recording orders, prices, and ticket totals.

· Receive and serve meal orders.

· Report all unsafe conditions immediately.

· Greet and seat guests as necessary.

· Stock areas with linen, glassware, and silver.

· Act as Busser / Runner as required.

· Attend required meetings.

· Maintain work area clean and organized.

· Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor including cross-training.

Requirements

· Food Safety Certification.

· Safe Alcohol Vendor Certification.

· Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

· Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.

· 6 months to 1-year previous experience preferred.

· Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
