The HAMPTON INN & SUITES COCONUT CREEK - and - THE RESIDENCE INN by MARRIOTT seeks an experienced housekeeping professional to join our growing company!

The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures our guest accommodations and all areas front and back of house are maintained at all times. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that our hotel standards are met through effective training and management of our housekeeping team, controlling labor and other costs without compromising quality, and working in coordination with other hotel departments. Room inspections daily.

Job Requirements

* Hotel housekeeping supervisory experience required. Thorough knowledge of all housekeeping department operations and individual job requirements.

* Manage finances of the housekeeping department including budget and inventory controls. Analyze reports on expenditures, wages, labor productivity and supplies in relation to hotel forecast and controllable accounts. Establish and maintain adequate supplies for efficient execution.

* Plan, organize, and monitor staff activities to ensure compliance with QA standards set by the Brand and Company. Visually inspect guest rooms and public space areas including restaurant and meeting rooms to ensure all standards are being achieved.

* Exceptional follow-through consisting of strong organizational skills and time management.

* Hire, train, schedule and supervise housekeeping staff.

* Plan and conduct daily staff meetings. Attend other related meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information to the team.

* Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff. Train department staff on proper use of supplies, cleaning agents and equipment.

* Consistently follow through with guest requests and feedback.

* Must be able to work flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends and holidays.
