With 25 programs, we offer treatment, prevention, growth and education services to more than 23,400 people annually.

The Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health is a global organization that includes infant mental health associations who offer the Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-Focused Practice Promoting Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health® (IMH-E® and ECMH-E®) credentials.

We know that early experiences and relationships shape how the brain is built. We firmly believe that supporting professional development initiatives and professionalization of the infant, young child and family workforce is a crucial strategy for supporting early relationship development. We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Business Coordinator to join the Alliance for Infant Mental Health team of talented professionals.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you will need the following:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business-related area (ie: Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain etc)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate several projects at one time 
  • Experience and understanding of digital technologies and databases preferred
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks and/or Survey Monkey is preferred
  • Willingness to work across multiple time zones which may require early morning or late evening meetings on occasion

The Business Coordinator is a key member of the Alliance Staff and is responsible for supporting this team in coordinating many of the administrative components of the Alliance’s operations. The Business Coordinator works closely with the Business & Marketing Director in their work to support the central office staff of the Alliance areas of Training and Technical Assistance, Reflective Practice, Endorsement® and other program priority areas. 

The Alliance is seeking someone who is an organized, critical thinker with strong attention to detail and follow through to join our team as Business Coordinator. This professional will support the central office staff of the Alliance, have exceptional organizational skills, write well, and understand how relationship building supports and grows the Alliance’s mission. 

Regular working hours (part time) should be maintained over a minimum of 3 days a week. Hours can be fulfilled between Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. .
