We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes and be detail-oriented. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
Duties:
- Process invoices, including coding and entering into the accounting system
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payment
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and documentation
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any payment or invoice issues
- Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or related role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
