The Goddard School of Collierville is Hiring a Pre-K Lead Teacher Near Collierville, TN

As a Pre-K Lead Teacher at The Goddard School, you join a group of other educators who are passionate about working with young children in one of the highest rated Pre-K programs in our area. We provide all necessary training to help you be successful in your new role by maintaining all Goddard health/safety and curriculum standards, all while having fun with children!

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive pay $14-$17/hr depending on qualifications
8:00-5:00 shift, no weekends

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
Advance children’s physical and intellectual competence through creative lesson planning.
Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and families.
Maintain a professional commitment.

Qualifications

Experience in an early childhood education center: minimum 1 year (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Child Development or bachelor’s degree in a related field or
Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Child Development or
A current Child Development Associate (CDA) or Early Childhood Teaching Credential
Strong computer and technology skills. Previous experience with digital lesson planning tools and software is a plus.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
