Job Description:

The Training & Development Manager will report to the Human Resources and conducts company training programs and prepares business training and development programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and deliver related trainings to current and new staff in various roles.
  • Facilitate and deliver instructor-led training courses, online tutorials, e-training modules related to department or company specific initiatives.
  • Identify areas of improvement to increase the quality and effectiveness of learning content, presentation and/or delivery based on user feedback, business subject matter experts and/or industry research in adult learning methodology.
  • Confer with management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
  • Partner with the Workforce Team to schedule time for employees to take training or e-training courses.
  • Provide follow up coaching to new employees after training, as needed.
  • Conduct new hire quality monitoring checks to identify areas of improvement in training materials.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, management reserves the right to assign and reassign job functions to this job at any time.

Education & Other Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field
  • 4 years of facilitating classroom training (virtual and/or in-person) in a corporate or a financial institutional setting.
  • 3 years previous experience working in financial services call center environment.
  • Demonstrated ability developing business training curriculum.
  • Knowledge and/or familiarity with adult learning principles, and the ability to apply instructional design principles (such as ADDIE) to training development.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills required.
  • Ability to reason, analyze and think quickly.
  • Advanced skills using MS Office products: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems such as Lessonly preferred.
