JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Associate unloads trucks, breaks down pallets, restacks U boats, moves out U boats, puts up new stock. The Associate breaks down cartons, bails cardboard, faces/presents store, moves/stacks pallets.

JOB TASKS:
Task 1. The Associate unloads trucks with a pallet jack.
Task 2. The Associate unloads, "breaks down" pallet and loads appropriate U boat according to destination in store.
Task 3. The Associate pushes the reloaded U boat to the appropriate location in the store.
Task 4. The Associate unloads the U boat putting cases and cartons on the floor.
Task 5. The Associate cuts open cases, lifts to shelving, stock items onto shelving old to front, new to back, and faces the items on the shelf.
Task 6. The Associate cuts or hits cartons to flatten them, stacks them on U boat, pushes U boat to bailer and loads cardboard into the bailer.
Task 7. The Associate uses a pallet jack to move loaded pallets to the floor, then opens cases, and stocks shelves.
Task 8. The Associate slides pallets to receiving and stacks pallets.

START OF SHIFT:
Promptly, at the start of the shift, the employee will review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.
HOUSKEEPING:
The employee will perform housekeeping duties, keep floors clean, and keep work areas neat and clean.

The employee will complete other duties, as directed by the Supervisor, within the Job Standard Physical Base Profile of this position.
Notes:
