The Expo Group is seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Operations Manager to join our Operations team in Irving, Texas and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse and its personnel. Our perfect candidate will…

• Be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to motivate staff and maintain deadlines
• Schedule warehouse staff on hourly/daily/weekly/monthly basis based on show schedule
• Communicate & schedule vendors for both warehouse & showsite based on company needs, including obtaining rental equipment, dumpster pulls, and material needs such as carpet, furniture, hardware, wood, etc.
• Monitor & approve time of warehouse personnel
• Oversee & monitor all departments within the warehouse to include SAF, Carpentry, Carpet, Drape & Deco, Freight Receiving & Shipping (including drivers)
• Communicate & work closely with the other offices (Irving, Chicago, Las Vegas) to allocate all equipment needed to ship to each individual show, from the Southeast region, to make sure all equipment is available for use across the country
• Order equipment from outside vendors and codes invoicing accordingly.
• Ensure all loads of equipment are entered into the system and CID’s are created according to policy.
• Provide usage and private carrier reports monthly to accounting
• Partner with Operations Department to ensure all equipment is shipped to/received from each event
• Work within the computer system daily to access information needed to produce successful
• events
• Maintain quality checks of equipment and product to ensure its acceptable for our clients.

This is what we need you to have:

• Tradeshow experience
• High school education
• Forklift certified
• General knowledge of the tradeshow industry & how to deal with the day to day stresses the industry can present.
• Need to be able to react, adapt & change at any given time
• Must have computer capabilities, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary software
