The Expo Group is seeking a Senior Producer to joining the production and the team on large, live and hybrid brand experiences. They will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the program are successfully delivered, translating creative into reality, and doing it on-time and on-budget. They’ll also be responsible for the fiscal health of the program, for building and supporting the team, for engaging and communicating with the client, and for keeping everything on track.
We’re looking for someone with at least five years of professional experience in production and a college degree who maintains expert level knowledge in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office. Our perfect candidate has proven leadership, team building, and customer service skills and is able to think quickly under pressure while inspiring a team to produce the best possible results. Strong presentation, verbal and written skills are vital for success.
Our perfect candidate will:

• Oversee producers, internal and external direct reports, and teams from beginning to end of the programs life cycle.
• Have deep industry connections in the US to source and manage resources across a variety of live event activations, including general session and breakouts, launch and press events, consumer activations, live performance and entertainment, special events, and galas.
• Manage all aspects of live events, including AV for entertainment and live show production, creative and production management for graphics, event flow, digital activations and platforms, IT implementation, video production, content production and management. High level knowledge of event logistics, registration, food and beverage, venue sourcing, transportation, parties/evening events, etc.
• Manage program budget profitability by partnering with General Manager to create appropriate budget estimates and negotiate statements of work, making sure work is delivered on budget, and supplier purchase orders are issued according to the agreed upon terms. Ensure all internal and third party costs are accounted for and paid.
• Travel to site visits, meetings and event show site to meet with teams.
• Build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring that all client’s needs are heard, understood, and addressed in a timely way
• Ensure clear client communications, managing expectations, roles and responsibilities, scope, budget, schedules, requirements, and program status/ action items
• Participate in creative brainstorms to generate ideas for clients
• Continually look for innovative solutions and production methods
• Execute the integrity of the creative treatment in all deliverables
• Solution based in thinking working with internal and external clients
• Be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Have organizational skills, multi-tasking, ability to work under tight deadlines, and strong time management skills
