The Dental Bar is Hiring a Dental Office Assistant Near Aurora, CO

Dental Assistant

Pay Range: $15-$27/hr (Varies based on experience)

Part-time schedule: 15-30 hours a week

The Dental Bar is a new dental practice, elevating the way patients feel about visiting the dentist. We are a privately owned practice, focused on providing top-notch dental care, the latest technology and a high-end patient experience. Join our team and help deliver a dental experience like no other to the patients of Aurora and surrounding areas!

About this role: The Dental Assistant is responsible for supporting the Dentist during treatments, exams, and treatment discussions with patients. This position is responsible for performing general RDA duties in collaboration with other team members. We are looking for team members who are focused on providing quality customer service and maintaining a strong professional relationship with others and a positive attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet and prepare patients for exams, completing digital charting and verifying codes with precision.
  • Capture quality x-ray images
  • Assist dentist with a variety of treatment procedures
  • Setting up and breaking down exam and treatment rooms
  • Discussing treatment options, importance and follow-up recommended care
  • Supporting with patient treatment appointment scheduling as requested
  • Sterilizing instruments and following cross-contamination standards
  • Creating positive and uplifting patient environments through patient engagement before, during, and after visits
  • Guiding parents and patients through post-care instructions
  • Assisting patients with company-provided prizes and dismissal
  • Understanding and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned such as answering phones and scheduling appointments.
  • Ordering and management of clinical supply inventory
  • Assistance with local marketing efforts such as contacting local businesses and dropping off marketing materials

Basic Qualifications: (preferred not required)

  • Dental Assistant Experience
  • Digital x-ray experience
  • Digital charting experience
  • EDDAs welcomed and appreciated
