The Container Store Inc. is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Coppell, TX

Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist position sources and hires top talent for all types of positions and supports the hiring process for various partners across the company. The position focuses on networking and relationship building to source talent for positions throughout the company while working closely with the Recruiting Team and hiring manager to ensure we hire the best person for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the interview process for positions in our Support Center, Stores and Distribution Centers to include creating/updating job descriptions and job postings in conjunction with the hiring manager, sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, conducting phone and in person interviews, planning all subsequent interviews and following up on all details throughout the hiring process
  • Conducts thoughtful interviews that assess the candidate’s full range of capabilities, aspirations and gains insight into their readiness to perform in the role, as well as assess how the candidate would integrate into our work environment
  • Utilizes experience, judgment, and discretion to evaluate candidates to ensure well-matched, talented candidates are presented to the hiring manager
  • Provides support to all recruiting partners across the organization by approving job requisitions, helping hiring managers get candidates through the hiring process and systems, assisting with coordination of new hire onboarding, etc.
  • Crafts positive candidate and hiring manager experiences from sourcing through interview to onboarding with strong business partner relationships
  • Communicates effectively in a timely manner with hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Coaches and guides hiring managers through the interview process
  • Ensures that candidates are progressed through all the required hiring steps via the applicant tracking system, iCIMS, to ensure compliance
  • Assists in preparing offer letters in collaboration with the hiring manager
  • Generates a pipeline of qualified candidates using technology, social media channels, and various other resources to efficiently seek out and identify active and passive candidates
  • Supports Stores recruiting by actively collaborating and coaching Store Leadership to source candidates
  • Passionately expresses the company’s business structure to candidates while acting as the steward of company culture, promoting and embracing our business practices, philosophies and strategies

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred
  • 2 years of networking, recruiting and interviewing experience
  • Broad experience with staffing, compensation, and compliance with federal/state laws related to employment law
  • Proven success using social media to connect and network with potential candidates
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office suite and experience with online applicant tracking systems, preferably iCIMS
  • Based in Dallas/Ft. Worth area on a hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office/ 2 days remote
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
