Summary:
Delivers wonderful customer service by assisting the Banquet Director in coordinating, planning, supervising and executing service within the Banquet Department.
Essential duties and responsibilities including the following:
Assists in the process of scheduling and supervising of appointed banquet staff.
Ensures quality customer service is being delivered by ensuring all staff are adhering to the guest standards.
Perform office duties such as: Typing Booking Letters and Banquet Event Orders, Respond to emails, phone calls and walk in inquires.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree or previous banquet experience is a plus, not required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel a must.
Knowledge of Caterease a plus, not required.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Ability to work long hours and variable shifts (weekends and holidays)
Ability to stand for a long period of time.
Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
Must posses strong customer service skills.
