• Provides excellent customer care at all times. Greeting and a smile to every person who walks in the door.
• Explain/Guide our customers on a journey. Depending on what the customer is looking for, give them suggestions on a good espresso based drink or pour over single origin to try. 
• Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Ensure proper drink preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards.
• Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers.
• Ensures all espresso shots are pulled correctly and drinks made per recipe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must LOVE coffee
• Some barista experience necessary
• Demonstrable passion and knowledge about coffee
• Must be excellent verbal communicator and be comfortable explaining our products our customers.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder
• Southern Nevada Health District Health Card required for position
• Background check required 
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• On occasion, may be required to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to fifty pounds; kneel, bend or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; reach and grasp objects

Base pay for Lead Barista is $14 per hour tips. Tips average brings you to ($18/hr on average). Leadership role.
