Now hiring assistant management trainee candidates for growing local coffee shop/cafe concept. All candidates start as baristas and work their way up through an accelerated training program.

We want someone who is willing to grow as the company does and is hungry for advancement. We want someone who can connect with our customers and help create a relationship between them, our team and our great coffee and food.

Barista Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter
• Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients
• Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
• Prepare beverages following recipes
• Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
• Keep the bar area clean
• Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
• Work the POS register to consult with guests on our menu and ring in orders.

• Respond to customer inquiries

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in restaurant, cafe, coffee shop or food service
*1 year of prior Leadership experience in any field

Requirements:

Open availability required. 
Full Time Position (40 Hours) 
Must LOVE coffee.
Effective verbal communication
US Citizen or Green Card holder
Background check required
