Purchasing Manager The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join the Supply Chain team! The Supply Chain Analyst will help create and continuously improve and monitor supplier performance reporting and scorecard process for our key suppliers and distributors. The objective of this role is to act as a key focal point for data aggregation, reporting and communication on the daily performance of our direct-store delivered products, primarily perishable products. The SC Analyst will ensure correct order placement, on-time delivery, order delivery accuracy and areas like perfect invoices and credits are tracked, monitored and reported to Supply Chain leadership. The Analyst will monitor and manage communication with fresh food, bakery, produce, dairy distribution and suppliers to ensure they are meeting their KPIs and identifying opportunities for process improvement. He/she will report and track critical events to drive action immediate action for the appropriate cross-functional team members. The SC Analyst will have purchasing oversight for several key product categories. As a hybrid position it allows this individual to be a key member of the team by playing buyer and analyst in addition to being a key back up for the entire team. This role will assist internally and cross-functionally with program team meeting updates related to supplier performance. This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain. Responsibilities: • Responsible for purchasing oversight of several key categories as defined by need and spend significance. • Consolidate and aggregate daily performance reporting of store level detail. • Working with cross-functional partners, develop process and procedure for reporting, tracking and follow-up on actionable mitigation plans. • Communicate any late orders or product integrity issues with supply chain team. • Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding timely deliveries of purchase orders. • Ongoing additional tasks may be assigned in support of the supply chain team Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance or related field. • Excellent problem resolution techniques. Strong critical thinking skills, ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity and ambiguity. • Ability to understand multi-layers of data and translate into actionable data for informed decision making. • Willingness to learn all aspects of supply chain to further contribute as needed. • Task focused with desire to deliver quality work in a timely manner. • Exemplary oral and written communication skills, ability to listen well and communicate effectively with others. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships based on mutual respect with peers, customers and team members. • Must be excellent at task management and have attention to detail and passion for success.
