A Peabody janitorial company is seeking a responsible person for routine cleaning and janitorial services for all existing contracts. This job will consist of roughly 4 hours per night of work starting between 5-6pm.

Responsibilities Include: Cleaning designated facility areas on a regular basis (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, organizing janitorial closets, etc.). Execute deeper cleaning tasks and special projects when required. The potential candidate will be responsible for traveling to all cleaning locations within a 25-mile radius. A gas card will be available after a 3 month probationary period.

Additional responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

• Communicating in a pleasant and professional manner with coworkers and customers.
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and materials.
• Last minute emergency fill ins for employees

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial / cleaning role is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy.
• Ability to plan and prioritize workload.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate in English, including reading and writing.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Education and Licenses:

• High School Degree or Equivalent, preferred
• Valid Driver’s License, required

Hours & Work Schedule:

Hours per Week: 20

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 4 hours/day starting between 5-6pm with additional weekend work available.
