Our Dining Services team is looking for a dedicated Sous Chef to provide quality food and service to residents, guests, and staff.

Key Job Responsibilities Include:

• Directly trains chefs, cooks, bakers, and dish room, utility and other kitchen workers engaged in preparing and cooking foods to ensure an efficient and profitable food service
• Assures compliance with all CMS regulations, sanitation, ServSafe, and workplace safety requirements
• Assumes responsibility for kitchen in absence of Executive Chef

This is a full-time hourly position that works 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule. Weekend availability required. Hours may vary based on business needs. 

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a supervisory food service role required
• Culinary background preferred
• ServSafe Certification preferred
• Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation in accordance with state and federal licensure
