The Charter Club of Marco Beach is Hiring a Housekeeping Manager Near Marco Island, FL

Job Description

What will I be doing?
As a Housekeeping Manager you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  • Fosters an environment of outstanding guest service for all departmental employees. Trains employees on appropriate guest service delivery and continuously monitors their performance in this area. Routinely inspects units to ensure they are in compliance with the standards of cleanliness set by the department. Ensures all assets of the department, equipment, supplies, and storage are properly locked and secured. Orients and trains employees on departmental and position procedures and functions, ensuring employees are consistently meeting productivity and safety standards. Maintains maintenance of linen, supplies, and other inventories. Maintains a continuous and progressive cleaning plan, ensuring all areas of the property are cleaned according to HGVC standards. This includes but is not limited to: guest rooms, public common areas, outdoor areas, offices, etc.. Provides and directs administrative duties for the department including, but not limited to: scheduling, purchasing of supplies, hiring, employee counseling and coaching, daily record maintenance, etc. Monitors operating budgets with accountability for reporting on variances Coordinates a comprehensive carpet and floor maintenance program. Monitors productivity of all Laundry operations; ensures all inhouse staff or outside contractors are performing according to HGVC standards. Investigates accidents and initiates accident reports. Recommends corrective action as required. Notifies management of any unresolved problems or concerns. Ensures departmental employees wear proper designated uniforms at all times. Maintains and promotes continuous communication and hospitality service among all members of the department and resort. Holds periodic departmental meetings. Monitors guest service ratings and directs efforts to maintain proper standards. Assists with all guest activities as required by management.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role efficiently, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • High School/GED
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • 2 years of Supervisory experience.

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-7 years related experience
  • 4 years supervisory experience
