Responsibilities

Draper is looking for a Director of Talent Acquisition who can help grow and scale the Talent function within Draper. In this role you will be responsible for the overall strategy and vision of the talent acquisition function. You will be focused on recruiting top industry talent and creating a “best in class” candidate experience – all while leading, developing, and motivating a talented recruiting team. You will be responsible for building innovative solutions and delivering high-impact sourcing strategies that deliver meaningful results. You will coordinate closely with Senior Leadership, and line management to satisfy the robust and dynamic talent needs of the organization. This role reports to the VP Human Resources/ CHRO.

  • Manages recruiting team across the enterprise providing close coordination on sourcing strategies, interview skills, selection process, and offer negotiations
  • Program management and execution of talent acquisition initiatives
  • Manages college recruiting function. Identifies potential academic partners to address emerging talent requirements and collaborates in the development of college recruitment programs (cooperative education, research, and internship programs)
  • Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with leadership and key cross-functional stakeholders internally
  • Drive technology, process, and teamwork efforts to enhance the recruitment process
  • Deliver against aspirational hiring goals to provide consistent results and measurable progress
  • Regularly build and maintain pipeline of qualified candidate for future needs, maintain ATS (iCIMS) data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
  • Manage and grow community and Diversity outreach through recruiting events and campaigns
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to develop a social media strategy and enhance our employment brand
  • Budget management, including forecasting, cost per hire and ROI

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 Years of full life cycle recruiting experience is required, preferably in a Talent Acquisition leadership role
  • Experience working in Defense, Government preferred
  • Must have experience with OFCCP compliance
  • Ability to translate business goals and external trends into innovative and creative talent strategies
  • Experience in leading recruiting with a focus upon emerging science and technology skills nationwide
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong ability to multitask in fast paced environment

  • High sense of urgency
