Position Summary
The Engagement Coordinator’s primary role is to plan, implement, and support teacher and customer facing engagement initiatives, both in person and virtual. The Engagement Coordinator is a key role working with Teacher Resources, Marketing, and Product teams, as well as other departments, to design and execute meaningful and effective virtual and in-person engagement experiences. The goal of engagement initiatives is to positively impact teacher/partner experience, success, and teacher and program retention.

Empower our teachers and position them as experts in global education.
Encourage and support ambassadors and partner schools and districts in telling their stories via social media, websites, etc.
Plan, design and produce various engagement experiences such as contests, challenges and awards programs.
Provide admin support for tracking entries (contests, challenges, awards programs) and awarding prizes.
Assists with logistics and administrative details related to new engagement projects and initiatives.
Facilitate and support community engagement through a wide range of activities such as discussions, courses, resource pages, and communications.
Liaise with department contacts to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction.
Propose ideas to improve quality of engagement experiences.
Collaborate with marketing, Teacher Experience and Product teams as needed to promote and publicize engagement experiences.
Collaborate with and support staff and teams involved in the planning of major events such as Arrival Orientation, Fall Orientation, Ambassador Teacher Graduation, summits, and symposiums.
Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems for engagement experiences.
Key Knowledge, Skill, Ability and Education Requirements (General and Specialized)
Bachelor’s degree required
2 - 3 years professional work experience in customer service
Excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading skills, and speaking
Proficient using the latest versions of Google office products for communications, managing tasks, preparing presentations etc.
Proficient at event-related administrative tasks such as mail merges, preparing agendas, etc.
Proficient with event platforms such as Eventbrite, Zoom, and other event management tools
Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff
Excellent interpersonal skills in person, by phone, and online with high professionalism.
Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
Excellent customer service ethic and high expectations for quality
Exceptional attention to detail
Key Measures
Client satisfaction (participants and stakeholders) from engagement experience survey feedback
Project deliverables - goals are met on time, budget management
Company-wide goals related to teacher and program satisfaction & retention
Other Essential Requirements
Position requires employee to have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license without restrictions
Due to the nature of our work with teachers and schools, COVID-19 vaccine is a requirement for new hires, however the company will consider accommodations for disability and religious reasons.
