WHO WE NEED 

This position oversees internal & external budgets, forecast modeling, tax compliance, payroll, accounts payable and more. This position also supervises a team of accountants and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. 

• Provide comprehensive annual internal budgets to senior management and oversee development of dynamic forecast models.
• Manage various external audits including financial and 401k, as well as income and sales/use tax compliance.
• Manage the payroll/accounts payable functions and assume a lead role in related system implementations/integrations to meet the needs of a growing company.
• Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all areas of responsibility.
• Oversee and support a team with leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.

IDEAL CANDIDATE SKILLS

• In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards (GAAP).
• Multi-state payroll experience for 300 employees.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local income and sales/use tax compliance.
• Comfortable with modern systems deployment and development of internal processes.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
• Analytical skills, problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Master’s Degree in Accounting or related field desired.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field.
• 8 years of accounting experience with 5 years of leadership experience.
