At Calhoun, we use sports as a vehicle to empower students with leadership skills they can use both on and off the court, field or track. For Calhoun athletes, sports are more than a sanctuary from the outside world, but a lens through which we understand our society and roles within it.
Calhoun athletes and coaches practice four core values: self-awareness, teamwork, empathy and resilience. Through our practice, we challenge one another to investigate why these values are critical to our work in sports and beyond.
Calhoun's Athletic Department is looking for a qualified coaches. Coaches will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering an appropriate range of drills and activities for individuals and teams.
Season dates are listed below:
- Fall: August 22-October 28
- Winter: November-February
- Spring: March-May
Athletic Coach Openings:
- Boys/Non-Binary Students Varsity Soccer - Head & Assistant Coach
- Girls/Non-Binary Students Varsity Tennis - Assistant Coach
- JV Soccer - Head & Assistant Coach
- Cross Country - Assistant Coach
- MS/HS Basketball Coaches
- Girls/Non-Binary Students JV Volleyball: Assistant Coach

Qualifications
Qualified applicants should possess the following:
- Experience working with middle/high school aged children
- Specific sport based knowledge
- Willingness to participate in professional development
- Experience with leadership development is greatly valued
