Job Description

The Budd Group is currently looking to add a Sales Representative to the team to help drive sales. The Sales Representative will focus on customer acquisition and additional sales to existing customers in a defined region. They will also source new customers for transaction business sales. This role will support janitorial, specialty services, resale services and maintenance services to commercial businesses in the defined region.Location: Nashville, TNPosition Responsibilities:Lead GenerationClose Specialty services sales, contracts or enhancement sales for services Assisting in the close of contracts or enhancement sales for services Specialty services sales - Identifies, closes and moves service work to appropriate manager. T&M closes additional purchases of products and services for existing customers through digital or calls if possible.Ensures suspect or lead identification, planning, account qualificationResearch potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital marketing resourcesCold calling; making multiple outbound calls to leads and prospects. Call prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.Secure in-person sales appointmentsPresent and/or deliver digital information to potential clients as needed.MarketingQualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, etc through digital campaigns.Tracking personal metricsMaintains database and systems of prospective client information.Participates in trade shows, networking events and community events as needed. Position Qualifications/Skills:Previous experience in outbound call center or inside sales experience or sales experience preferredProven success in a consultative, structured Inside Sales environmentTrack record of effective sales presentation over the phone and in personSales success as demonstrated by having met or exceeded revenue and quota targetsGood phone presence with an outgoing and confident personalityStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organization skills capable of canvassing several markets at once with goal to expand company with new sales, clients, and territoriesComfortable making cold callsPersuasive and goal-orientedAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyTenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential clientAbility to work independently or as an active member of a teamStrong computer skills, digital marketing skills, and CRM skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce, Outreach, and Pardot.
